Colin Cumming, President, Chief Executive Officer & Board Member
Prior to becoming CEO, Mr. Cumming has served as Chief Technology Officer since 2006 and has been the President of the Detection group and a member of the Board of Directors since 2005. Mr. Cumming also serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Nomadics, Inc., our wholly-owned subsidiary, a position he has held since he co-founded Nomadics in 1994. Prior to forming Nomadics, he served as Vice President for Engineering and Research at Frontier Engineering. He has also served as a design engineer for Amoco Research Center, Fife Corporation and Los Alamos National Laboratory. Mr. Cumming holds a MS in Electrical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
Hans Kobler, Executive Chairman & Board member
A co-founder of ICx, Mr. Kobler was also a Board member of many of the ICx subsidiary companies prior to merging and was closely involved in the monitoring and operations of the group. Mr. Kobler was also a founding partner of Digital Power Capital. Previously, Mr. Kobler headed the GE Power Technology Investment Group and was Chief Quality Officer leading the six sigma effort at GE Equity. Before that, Mr. Kobler was a Management Consultant with Bain & Company. He holds an MA in Aerospace Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
Deborah Mosier, Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining ICx as Chief Financial Officer in 2006, Ms. Mosier served as Chief Financial Officer of Nomadics, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of ICx Technologies. From 1995 to 2004, she served in various leadership positions, including as president, chief financial officer and a director for TMS, Inc., a publicly held technology company that developed software and provided services to enable businesses to use document imaging to solve critical business issues. From 1989 to1996, Ms. Mosier worked in the audit practice of KPMG LLP. Ms. Mosier is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma, holds a B.S. from Oklahoma State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Wayne Bryden, Chief Science Officer
Joining ICx in 2007, Dr. Bryden served as Vice President for Advanced Research. Prior to joining ICx, Dr. Bryden served as Program Manager in the Special Projects/Strategic Technology Office of DARPA where he was awarded the Office of Secretary of Defense Medal for Exceptional Public Service. Before that, Dr. Bryden spent 25 years with The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU-APL) where he conducted basic and applied materials and sensor research as a Program Manager, Principal Professional Staff Scientist and Departmental Chief Scientist. He holds a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from The Johns Hopkins University, is the author of more than 80 publications and holds 7 US Patents (with 2 pending).
