The Griffin 450 GC/MS has been designed to meet the rigorous needs of a mobile analytical laboratory. Our patented cylindrical ion trap (CIT) mass analyzer provides more comprehensive and accurate information through multidimensional mass analysis (MS/MS).

Analytical Flexibility

Direct air analysis can be performed in the field using the Griffin 450 via the integrated sample loop (for high concentration (ppb-ppm)) or pre-concentrator tube (for high concentration (ppb-ppm)). Additionally, the analytical flexibility of the Griffin 450 is expanded with the use of the 3 lb. Griffin X-Sorber handheld sampler.

Dependent upon the compound of interest, the Griffin 450 GC/MS provides accurate response data ranging from seconds to minutes.

Positive Identification of Unknown Chemicals

The Griffin 450 is capable of confirming the presence of explosives, chemical warfare agents (CWAs), industrial chemicals and organic compounds, including both volatile and semi-volatile compounds.
